Presbyterian Women

Our Purpose: Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves:
  • to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study
  • to support the mission of the church worldwide
  • to work for justice and peace, and
  • to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (USA) and witness to the promise of God's kingdom.
  • We invite all women of the church to participate in PW events and mission projects.

Presbyterian Women hold monthly Circle Meetings, meet for Bible Study, go "Out to Lunch" with other PWs on the second Tuesday of every month at Bob Evans Restaurant, and have a strong focus on mission.

Mission Projects include: Good Works, My Sister's Place, the Food Pantry, agricultural work in Central America, volunteering to help with lunch for special needs adults, and making prayer shawls for the homebound, baby caps for newborns, blankets for disaster victims, hand knit baby sweaters, and much more.
